Who will be the Videographer at my Event?

I am the primary videographer. However, we have a highly trained and skilled staff that shoot with us when we have more than one event on the same day.

Will you have a low key Presence?

Definitely. We go about our job quietly and professionally without distracting you or your guests. Most events remark that they didn’t notice we were there and are surprised by the extensive coverage. Our videos are done in a documenting style, not directing.

Do you use bright lights?

No, we use unobtrusive, on camera lighting to highlight the clarity, brilliance and true color.

What type of equipment do you use?

We use Canon and Panasonic’s professional line of DV camcorders. Our cameras are ALL DIGITAL, 3CCD and the highest quality in the industry. Combined with our professional, non-linear editing system, we insure the most artistic and highest quality video possible.

How about the quality of our vows, guests and music?

Our audio is Crystal clear! Echoes are eliminated because we use broadcast standard wireless microphones and shotgun microphones. Your voices are clear and your vows will sound just as you spoke them.

Do you carry backup equipment?

Yes. We always have all of the necessary components to insure a professional video.

Will you be professional in your appearance?

Yes. We are professional in both demeanor and dress.

How long will the video be?

Your DVD will include your edited video, approximately 30-75 minutes in length. At this length, it is easier to watch repeatedly, it’s easier to show to family and friends. You may also request to have all the unedited video transferred to DVD

Will you customize our video?

Yes. The artistic quality and creativity of our staff is what really shine through in all of our videos.

Can we select music for you to use in the editing process?

Yes. Songs that are special to you can be edited into the final production and we do ask for your input. If you are not sure about which songs to use we can assist or even choose them for you.

Do you use a lot of special effects in your video?

We use classic transitions, such as, dissolves, slow motion, and other subtle effects to bring out the emotion of your day but only where it’s appropriate.

Do you require a retaining fee for your services?

Yes. We require a $250 deposit at the time you book your date. We also require the remaining amount 7 days prior to your events date.

How soon can we expect to receive our edited DVD’s?

If you have seen our work you realize that the video footage is not just put together in the order it was shot, but rather thoughtfully and artistically edited to become a more emotional and meaningful experience. It is not uncommon to spend over forty hours editing a single event this way. Because of this, return time can be anywhere between five to ten weeks.

What distinguishes a “high end” video from a “low end” video?

High-end video requires no excuses. The sound is clear and crisp, the image has accurate color and the camera work is smooth. The pace is quick and captivating, never dragging on longer than necessary. Special effects are content driven, not just used because they “look cool”. Mostly, the difference between a well produced professional video and a low-end video should be obvious by your reaction to it. You either hate it or love it!
